Sometimes there are days where it's good to just hang out and do nothing. On these days, I like to be as comfortable as I can. One of my favorites stores, Petite Mort, has some exclusive items at the Garage Fair that have comfortable written all over them.
The Knotted Tank top is a cropped tank that is knotted beneath the chest. It has a piping edge along the rounded neckline and armholes. The weathered texture is very comfortable looking and it has a wonderful fit.
The other exclusive Garage Fair item from Petite Mort is the Filthy/Clean Boyfriend Jeans. These are loose fitting belted jeans with cuffed legs. They have a distressed texture with rips on the legs. The filthy version of these jeans has paint spatter and patches.
The Knotted Tank is made for the five standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus and Slink Hourglass/Physique. There are 18 separate colors available which includes all the colors of the rainbow plus basic colors as well. There are also three fatpacks of six colors available.
There are six colors each of the Clean/Filthy Boyfriend Jeans. Each color is available separately or as a fatpack of all the clean versions and a fatpack of all the filthy versions. These jeans are made for the five standard mesh sizes, Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus; Slink Hourglass/Physique and Maitreya
The Vintage Chuck Sneakers are mesh lace up sneakers made for standard feet. I chose the Paisley Chucks because I liked the colors but there are six patterned sneakers and six solids available. At 50 Lindens each they are quite a bargain.
The good thing about fashion fairs is the discovery of designers. I had never heard of Tukinowaguma but I plan on visiting the main store based on what they are offering at the Garage Fair. I really love the Garage Fair exclusive hairstyle called Hedda. It's a chin length bob with a bit of a curl up at the bottom. It's parted and pulled back behind the ear on the right side and brought forward on the left side.
There is a regular version and unrigged version and the color is controlled by a HUD. There are four versions available, blonds, browns, red/black and colors each with a HUD that has solid colors and fades. There is also a fatpack available with all the colors.
The Garage Fair
The theme for this year's Garage Fair is Casual, Urban, Fashionista Style, Old, New & Mixed. The event features many top designers with exclusive items 50% off and regular items 30% off. Designer gifts and gachas also available. The Garage Fair started on May 1st and runs until May 15th.
