Look #146: Beautiful Daydreams

I just love the Everlong Sim.  I hadn't been here in while so I decided to visit to see if I could get inspiration for some blog photos. I was pleased to see that there had been some scenery changes since I had last been there and I didn't have to walk around long before I came to this great chaise lounge chair.  I look like I am daydreaming which I think fits the outfit I am wearing. For this blog post I have a beautiful dress to show you from Siss Boom,  an awesome pair of heels from Wicked, and a lovely jewelry set from Indulge Temptation.

The Linger dress from Siss Boom is so delicate and feminine that the minute I saw it I knew I had to share it in my blog.  The bodice is a fitted halter that plunges down in a V shape in the front.  It reminds of the top part of the dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when that famous picture was taken as she stepped over the air grill. The back of the bodice has two thin straps that criss cross and connect to the back of the skirt part.

The skirt part of the Linger dress has a waist line that rises up in a slight V shape and drapes down in a few subtle pleats.  What makes this dress look dreamy is a gauze like overlay on the skirt that falls below the hem.

The Linger dress is available in four delicate dreamy colors.  It is made for five standard mesh/fitmesh sizes as well as for Maitreya and Slink

The shoes I chose to pair with the dress are Charlene Heels from Wicked.  These wonderful heels have a thick base under the toe part with a strap that runs over the toe.  There is a strap that wraps around the middle of the foot and connects to the piece at the back of the foot.  This piece laces up with a thin cord that has a tassel at each end.  It finishes up with a strap that wraps around the foot above the ankle.  The Charlene Heels are made for Slink High feet and has a HUD included which provides color options for the leather, the color of the tassels, the laces, sole, inside of the heel and the metal

A delicate feminine dress should be accessorized with some delicate, feminine jewelry.  The Fey Berries set from Indulge Temptation was the perfect choice.  It consists of a necklace and matching earrings.  The necklace starts with a small chain the back from which hangs an intricate vine metal piece in the front.  There are four larger gems, two round and two oval shaped, that connect to the vine piece on each side and small rounder gems scattered throughout just like berries hanging on a vine.  The earrings are drop down and have the same delicate vine pattern with two larger gems and smaller gems that match the necklace.  There is a HUD included that allows for color choices for the gems and the metal.  The Fey Berries set is available at the May round of SWANK and is available in six different color combinations.
