Look #309: Purple Goth

For this blog post I am taking it Goth with some awesome items from The Little Bat (!TLB), Zombie Suicide and Vengeful Threads exclusives at the Darkside 2 Fashion Fair. Additionally I have some awesome nails from Dark Passions Koffin Nails. 

The Gina Dress is the exclusive from The Little Bat (!T.LB) at the Darkside 2 Fashion Fair. This is a long sleeved jersey dress with a cross pattern on the front on a black background.  Both the sleeves and cross have a diamond pattern the color of which can be changed to one of the 12 colors available on the included HUD. The Gina Dress is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass/Physique

Makeup is very important for this Goth look and I didn't have to look much further than at the  Darkside 2 Fashion Fair  where Vengeful Threads has the Venom Eyeshadows.  This is a multicolor eyeshadow with a dark liner and black lines that extend from the top liner to the upper lid.  The applier HUD for Catwa has 13 color combinations from which to choose. There is an applier HUD for each color for Omega and a tattoo layer for each color for standard avatars.

The  Dark Passions Koffin Nails hunt prize for Ostara's Alter are the Lady of the Moon Nails.  The nails have a dream catcher on a colored background.  The applier HUD six different colors from which to choose. There are applier HUDs for Maitreya, Omega and Slink each included in a fatpack for the hunt prize. The hunt prizes for Ostara's Alter are hidden in Easter eggs throughout the event and cost 5L each.

I found the perfect shoes to finish off my Goth look at the Darkside 2 Fashion Event.  The exclusive from Zombie Suicide are the New Day Plats.  These are chunky heeled shoes that have three wide bands that lace up across the toes and top of the foot.  The HUD included has 15 colors to choose for the laces and the sole. The New Day Plats are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High feet.

Look #205: Galactic Darkness

I always like to find items from separate designers and events and put them together to make an awesome outfit. For the outfit I put together for this blog post I have items from Blasphemic, Zombie Suicide and Red Apple from the Darkness Chamber Fair and Yuyoo from the Fable event.

The Leda Collar is a new release from Blasphemic.  This resizable collar consists of a leather band that is connected to each side of a metal heart in the front. There are two metal rivets to fasten the leather band to each side of the heart.  It comes with a HUD that gives eight color options for the band. There is a version for each color of the metal heart and rivets: black, bronze, gold and silver.




Another recent release from Blasphemic is the Flavia Top.  This is a cute bra top that has a triangular piece with a net filled heart cutout that goes around the neck.  There are metal rings on the bottom of the top and around the breast pieces. The Flavia Top is made for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink as well as five fitmesh sizes.   It is available in many colors (babygirl, black, blue, nude, pink, purp;e, red and white) .  There is also a fatpack that has all the colors.

The Galactic Skirt is a Darkness Chamber Fair exclusive from Zombie Suicide.  This is a basic mini skirt made out of a shimmery material.  It has a panel pocket on the front that has a galaxy space pattern.  The HUD included offers twelve galaxy patterns for the front pocket and twelve shimmery colors for the rest of the skirt.  It is made for five standard mesh sizes, Maitreya, Slink and TMP.

The awesome sleeve tattoo on each arm is a gift available at the Fable event from Yuyoo Tattoo.  The Ursidae tattoo is a very intricate tattoo that includes floral patterns, butterflies and panda faces.  Everytime I look at it I see something new.  It includes light, medium and dark versions for standard system layers and applier HUDs for Adam, Belleza, eBody, Eve, Lena, Maitreya, Omega, Slink and TMP

The nails I am wearing are another Darkness Chamber Fair exclusive from Red Apple.  The Skulls Nail Color is a bright solid color background with a repeating white skull and cross bones pattern.  It  comes as a multi HUD that includes eight colors each for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

Look #128: The Rainbow Connection

I found the end of the rainbow! Unfortunately there wasn't a pot of gold but I did find the Somewhere Over the Rainbow fashion event.  I was able to put together this great outfit with items on sale at this event.  I feel great because I got a really awesome outfit and I know that the lindens I spent are going to help a family whose child has cancer (see below).

The top and pants are two of the three items offered by Blasphemic at this event.  The Magic Rainbow top is an event exclusive  and is a simple short sleeved t-shirt with a rounded neckline.  It has a cute picture of a little girl standing amidst some mushrooms making a rainbow appear over her head.  This is a mesh top made for five fitmesh sizes as well as standard sizes.  It is also made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

The Vyper pants are leggings that have an interesting strap design at the waist. Thin straps criss-cross and there are studs where the straps meet.  This design is both in the front and back of the leggings. The color available at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow event is a pretty blue.   The Vyper pants are made for the tattoo system layer, A universal HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and Omega, and a HUD for TMP. 

The necklace I am wearing is from Zombie Suicide and also is available at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow event.  The Kiersten necklace has a chain on which hangs a pentagram and hanging from the pentagram is a crystal.  It comes with a HUD to change the color of the chain, the pentagram and the crystal. The color options for the crystal include all the colors of the rainbow as well as a few others.  I really like the length of this necklace and it fit so well with the top.

I love Koffin Nails from Dark Passions so when I saw these at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow event I just had to get them.  This nail applier is called The Last Rainbow and it's for both hands and feet.  The applier HUD offers twelve different rainbow nail patterns, six with a black tips and six with white tips.  The fatpack includes a HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega and Slink Nails.

I wandered around the Somewhere Over the Rainbow searching for the perfect shoes to finish off this awesome outfit.  There they were, the Vixen Heels from The Little Bat.  These are gorgeous heels that have some interesting features.  They have a very high stiletto heel and a peep toe.  The back of the heel and foot laces up and there is a single strap that wraps around the middle of the foot.  A HUD with six color option is included to change the strap and the sole of the heel .  I loved it because the blue HUD option for the heels matched the blue of the leggings like they were made to go together.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Event

This is a fund raising event for a child named Huntar Sammons who has been diagnosed with a blood cancer.  The funds raised will help his parents cover their bills so they can be at his bedside while he goes through chemotherapy for 6 months
