Look #60: Nerd Style at the White Elephant

Dressing like a nerd doesn't have to be a bad thing. In fact it can be very fashionable! There some great items at the White Elephant Gacha Holiday Fair that definitely make this possible.  I came up with two great looks that I am sharing here.

The first outfit started with a sweater called Emma from a gacha from Dust Bunnies. This is a very nicely textured sweater with a button down shirt underneath.  There are eight common sweaters available each having two versions.  One version has a white shirt underneath and the other version has a plaid shirt underneath the sweater.  The two rare sweaters available in the gacha have three versions:  A white shirt underneath, a plaid shirt and a solid color shirt.  The Emma sweater is made for standard sizes as well as Isis, Freya and Venus mesh.

The hair I have on for the first outfit is also available in a gacha at the White Elephant Gacha Holiday Fair.  It's called Misty and it's from Head Desk.  This is a long hairstyle pulled back from the forehead and secured with a band.  The color of the hair and band is changed via a HUD.  There are 5 common HUD sets and three rare HUD sets.  I am wearing a brown from one of the rare HUD sets called Dark Side.

The second outfit started with a White Elephant Gacha Holiday Fair exclusive from Dust Bunnies called the Nerdy Holiday Pants.  These are super cute short plaid pants that are sold in pairs of two colors each.  There are appliers for mesh bodies as well as a layer version for standard bodies.

The style of the pants and color I chose went very well with the Sweetheart Hoodie I am wearing from Nerdy Girl. This is also available at the White Elephant Gacha Holiday Fair.  The Sweetheart Hoodie comes with a HUD  that has a choice of four solid colors or three patterns.  A very cute touch is the lacing on the back of the hoodie, on the pockets in the front and on the sleeves.  The HUD also has ten color choices for these ribbons and either gold or silver for the metal grommets holding the ribbons on the back. The hoodie is made for the five standard sizes.

The other item to complete my "Fashionable Nerd" look for both outfits was some glasses.  I am wearing the Frosty Nerd Glasses made by Dust Bunnies that are available in a gacha also at the WEGHF. There are 14 commons and no rares in this gacha.  Each pair of glasses comes in two versions:  one with a clear lens and the other with a frosty lens.

The White Elephant Gacha Holiday Fair runs until December 26th.  At this event you will find both gacha items and regular items and exclusives from many excellent designers.  There is also a gift Christmas Tree where you will find free gifts from the participating designers as well!
