Look #314: Dreams of Mexico

The Yulia Skirt is an exclusive at the Darkside Fashion Fair from Blasphemic.  This is a sexy high waisted skirt made of a netted material with four hook fasteners in the front. This skirt is definitely worthy of being an inventory staple as it would go with a variety of tops.  I chose to pair it with the Skye Off Shoulder top from Tee*fy available at this month's round of Collabor88.   The Yulia Skirt is made for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass/Physique; and is available in a myriad of colors (babygirl, black, nude, purple, red and white)

The Dotty Eyeshadow is available at the Twe12ve event from D. Designs. Black eyeliner surrounds the upper and lower eye and a bright swatch of color is on the lid.  The finishing touch is a series of small black dots right above the lid starting from the middle and running to the outer corner of the eye.  There is applier HUDs for both Catwa and Omega that has 16 different eyelid colors from which to choose.

Dark Passions Koffin Nails has some beautiful nails available at the Cosmetic Fair.  The Night Glimmer Nails have a small moon in the middle with stardust on either side and a beautiful shimmer sky background.  There are applier HUDs for Maitreya, Omega and Slink with nine colors from which to choose.  Each applier HUD is 100L each or a fatpack of all applier HUDs  is available for 275L

The fun hairstyle I am wearing is a Darkside Fashion Fair exclusive from Tameless.  Rashida is a long pulled back hair style with a smal bun on top and a long pony tail off to the side.  There is a regular version of the hair and a version for those with a larger chest. The Megapack comes with two color HUDs both with 20 color choices: Naturals and Fantasy colors. Each of the color HUDs can also be purchased separately.  The Rashida Hair is non-rigged and re-texure and resize scripted

Look #313: Spring Flowers

The Fiorella outfit from Pin Up is an exclusive at Hashtag event. This is a lovely Spring outfit that includes a dress, heels and a flower head wreath.   The form fitting dress is made of denim with applique flowers on the corset bodice, waistline and hemline. It is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Ebody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique, Tonic Curvy/Fine and TMP.

The Fiorella Heels have a peep toe and straps that criss-cross over the top of the foot and connect to the heel with a buckle.  These heels are made for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High.

The Nausicaa eyeshadow is a Darkside Fashion Fair exclusive from Slack Girl. There is white on the eyelid and a bright color above the eyelid with three black dots. The look is finished off with three more black dots at the inner corner of the eye and thick black liner around the top and bottom of the eye.  There is an applier HUD for Akeruka, Catwa and Omega that offers eight color choices.  There are also eight tattoo versions of each color for standard avatars.

Look #309: Purple Goth

For this blog post I am taking it Goth with some awesome items from The Little Bat (!TLB), Zombie Suicide and Vengeful Threads exclusives at the Darkside 2 Fashion Fair. Additionally I have some awesome nails from Dark Passions Koffin Nails. 

The Gina Dress is the exclusive from The Little Bat (!T.LB) at the Darkside 2 Fashion Fair. This is a long sleeved jersey dress with a cross pattern on the front on a black background.  Both the sleeves and cross have a diamond pattern the color of which can be changed to one of the 12 colors available on the included HUD. The Gina Dress is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass/Physique

Makeup is very important for this Goth look and I didn't have to look much further than at the  Darkside 2 Fashion Fair  where Vengeful Threads has the Venom Eyeshadows.  This is a multicolor eyeshadow with a dark liner and black lines that extend from the top liner to the upper lid.  The applier HUD for Catwa has 13 color combinations from which to choose. There is an applier HUD for each color for Omega and a tattoo layer for each color for standard avatars.

The  Dark Passions Koffin Nails hunt prize for Ostara's Alter are the Lady of the Moon Nails.  The nails have a dream catcher on a colored background.  The applier HUD six different colors from which to choose. There are applier HUDs for Maitreya, Omega and Slink each included in a fatpack for the hunt prize. The hunt prizes for Ostara's Alter are hidden in Easter eggs throughout the event and cost 5L each.

I found the perfect shoes to finish off my Goth look at the Darkside 2 Fashion Event.  The exclusive from Zombie Suicide are the New Day Plats.  These are chunky heeled shoes that have three wide bands that lace up across the toes and top of the foot.  The HUD included has 15 colors to choose for the laces and the sole. The New Day Plats are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High feet.

Look #307: A Place to Reflect

The Spring Dress is the hunt item for the Evil Bunny Hunt from Sevyn East.  This is a white lacy dress that has a slightly pleated flared skirt and a halter bodice. The back of the dress has thin straps on the top that attach to the skirt at the waist line.  The Spring Dress is made for Classic Mesh/Fitmesh as well as Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

The Dark Side Fashion Fair starts on April 8th.  One of the exclusives that will be available is the Slash Eyeshadow and Slash Nails from Livia. The Slash Eyeshadows is a set of four bold colors that start on the lid and wing out over the crease of the eyelid.  The Slash Nails are a triangular patten with background colors to match the eyeshadows. There are applier HUDS for the eyeshadows for Catwa, Lelutka and Omega.  The Applier HUD for the nails include Maitreya, Slink, Omega, Vista and Tuty

The Slipper Originals exclusive at the current round of the Designers Circle is the Henna Sandals.  These are flat sandals that have a wide strap across the top of the foot and a small strap around the big toe attached to the wide strap with a chain.  The HUD included offers color choices for the shoe, the insole, the sole and the metal color.  The Henna Sandals are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Flat Feet.

Look #131: Even Nice Girls Wear Latex

I don't own many latex outfits because I have never been able to find one I really liked until now.  The Aria Dress from Bitch Factory proves that latex can be stylish. The top and sleeves of the dress is a black netting joined by a silver medallion in the middle The rest of the dress is made up of shiny latex cut daringly in the front to a "V" shape that ends just above the waist.  The back of the Aria Dress dips down to expose a bit of back cleavage but it's very tastefully done.

 
The Aria Dress is available at the Dark Side Fashion Fair in the four colors pictured here. This dress is for mesh bodies only. It has an applier HUD for Maitreya and Omega. 

The jewelry I am wearing is also available at the Dark Side Fashion Fair.  It's the Bad Intention Jewel Pack from Glitzz.  The pack consists of a bracelet for both the left and right wrist; a necklace, a pair of earrings; a collar and a crown (collar and crown not pictured here).

The earrings are a single large pear shaped black gem with silver trimming. The necklace consists of a large black pear shaped gem surrounded by two smaller black pear shaped gems suspended on  a delicate silver chain.  The bracelets are wide silver cuffs with beveled top and bottom edges. Every item in this set is resizable so it can be made to fit just right.  This is a very beautifully coordinated jewelry set that goes perfectly with the dress.

This dress just looked like it needed a fabulous pair of boots to set it off.  The Mieke boots from Blasphemic are a great pair of thigh high suede boots with a cool silver high heel. They are mesh and are made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus; Slink Physique and Maitreya as well as for standard.  The Mieke boots are available in black, brown, pink, purple, red, white.

I was waiting for a post where I could feature these cute shoulder bears from Blisserie for the Evil Bunny Hunt.  There are two eggs hidden by the Evil Bunny at the Blisserie store. One is a "nice" egg that contains an Angel Bear shoulder buddy all in white with a t-shirt that says "Do the Right Thing"   The other egg is a "naughty" egg that contains a black and white Devil Bear with a t-shirt that says "Do Whatever You Want".   They both can be worn at the same time on each shoulder.  Which one you listen to is up to you!

Look #130: Beauty in the Outer Garden

This is the last week for the Dark Side Fashion Fair so I wanted to feature another item available there.  As soon as I saw this beautiful dress from Mooh I knew I had to feature it in my blog.

The Julia dress is actually a two piece satin top/skirt.  The lovely skirt starts off with a wide band at the waist and then flares out with lots of pleats that makes it look very feminine.  The skirt is mesh and made for the five standard sizes as well as Maitreya, Slink and TMP
 
The top is an off shoulder wrap top with straps that wrap around the shoulder and drop sleeves that wrap around the upper arms.  The back of this top is beautifully done. It drops down in a square cutout and has a strap above the shoulders and two straps above the waist. It is also mesh and made for the five standard/fitmesh sizes as well Slink.

The Julia dress is an exclusive at the Dark Side Fashion Fair and is available in eight beautiful colors shown here.

The jewelry I am wearing fit with the romantic look of the Julia Dress.  The necklace, earrings and bracelet belong to the Crystalline Set from Indulge Temptation (!IT).  This set is available at the Color Me Project.

The chain on all three pieces is a very delicate pattern and the color can be changed to one of the ten colors available on the HUD that comes with the set.  The pear shaped gems drop nicely from the chain.  There are eight color options for the gems on the HUD.

This beautiful set is definitely going to be a staple of my wardrobe!

Look #127: A Beautiful Day in the Country

I found this lovely dress among the items available for The Evil Bunny Hunt from Kingswood.  The Summer - Gala Party dress has a light green bodice, a darker green band at the waist and hem of the skirt and a lovely pattern of yellow, pink, green and blue for the skirt. The way the skirt drapes gives it a very feminine look. It rises up in the front and drops lower in the back.   The Summer - Gala Party dress is mesh and comes in the five standard sizes.

The necklace and eyeshadow I am wearing are both available at the Darkside Fashion Fair.

The Ceinlys necklace from Ollies Follies is available as the 10L gift. I It starts with a circlet of beads around the neck and has larger beads that extend off the circlet.  There is a texture changer HUD included to change the textures of both the beads and metal.

The Goddess eyeshadow from {MUA} is a shiny eyeshadow that colors the eyelids and the inner corner of the eye. There are six different colors included in tattoo layers and also huds for Catwa, Lelutka and a TMP installer

The shoes to finish off the look are from K Creations and is a hunt gift for the Evil Bunny Hunt.  The Dayse Shoes are very cute heels that have a denim strap around the toes and a larger denim strap on the foot.  There is an applique of a humming bird on the side of the larger strap. These heels are made for Slink High feet.

The photos for this blog post were taken on the Luane's World sim.  It's a very beautiful sim with plenty of photogenic spots and a great place to bring that special someone to relax and explore.  It is also the spot for :LW: Poses where you can find many romantic, beautiful poses for singles and couples.  There are also pose sets that includes interaction with cute animals.  I have featured one of these poses above.  It's called Don't Wait and it comes with the stump, the flowers, and bunny.  The kitty and butterfly to hold are also included. All the pose sets available from :LW: Poses are copy/modify.

Look #125: Zoo Fashion

In this blog post I am featuring some great items from both the Evil Bunny Hunt and the Dark Side Fashion Fair.

The Strapless Dress with Giraffe is the gift item for the Evil Bunny Hunt from Glow Designs. This is a cute casual strapless dress with a band on the hem and and a high waistline.  It has a print of two giraffes on the front.

The nails and makeup I am wearing is from Livia and is available at the Dark Side Fashion Fair.  The Deep Wave Nails applier has a choice of six dual colored "wave" nail patterns. The colors are rich and have a bit of shine.

The Deep Crush Eyeshadow in brown in pictured here.  I love the depth it gives my eyelids.  This eyeshadow is made for tattoo layers, Catwa, Lelutka and Omega huds. The colors include chocolate, crimson, eggplant and purple.

The Deep Crush Lipstick is a deep matte lipstick.  I am wearing brown here but it also comes in berry, cherry, chocolate, eggplant and purple.  Like the eyeshadow it is made for tattoo layers, Catwa, Lelutka and Omega huds.

The Dark Side Fashion Fair

An Evil Bunny Productions shopping event featuring over 80 of Second Life's best designers.  Which side are you- good or evil? Maybe a little of both?  All designers will have an exclusive design available only at the event and a $10L gift in their shop. A gacha fair will also be on-site for you to buy for yourself or gift/trade with others.  The Dark Side Fashion event started April 9 and runs until April 30.

The Evil Bunny Hunt

The Evil Bunny is back for the 6th year and has been very busy spreading chaos, stealing eggs and being, well, evil. Follow his devious trail of nice and naughty eggs but beware of that carrot, is it ink or blood, we don't know as he's very tricky and quick. That fluffy tail isn't as cute as you might think.  The hunt starts on April 3rd and ends on April 30th
