Look #253: Girl in a Box

The current round of Color Me Project  and the Boho Culture Fair are both winding down.  I have some last minute items to share from both of these events from Furtacore, Indulge Temptation, Epicou & Oricay, Arte and +Mouni Poses+
 

The Alanis Dress is one of the exclusives at the Color Me Project from Furtacor.   This is a peplum dress where the bodice is a tube shape with ruffled fabric extending from the waistline.  The skirt part is a straight mini skirt.

This dress comes with an awesome HUD that gives 40 color/pattern choices.  That makes this dress highly customizable . It is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique and TMP.

Accessories are an important part of the outfit.  I am wearing the SassItUp! eyeshadow from Arte.  This is available at the Boho Culture Fair. It is a bold leopard print pattern eyeshadow.  The applier HUD is for Catwa Mesh heads and has 14 color choices.

The jewelry set I am wearing is from Indugle Temptation at the Color Me Project.  The Heart's Desire set consists of a necklace and matching earrings.  The necklace starts out with a ring of gems from which hangs a large heart gem.  The hanging earrings are made up of a cluster of small gems on and then a heart gem.  The HUD that comes with this jewelry set offers 11 color gem color options and 10 metal color options.

Epicou & Oricay have the INA High Wedge heels avialble at the Color Me Project.  These leather heels have a thick wedge heel and base.  There is a leather piece that covers the foot and has laces that tie at the top. The INA High Wedge Heels are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High feet.  The HUD included alows for color customization of each part of the heel.

Look #252: She's a Free Spirit

I love to put together an awesome outfit with separates from different designers.  This time I did it with items from the Boho Culture Fair.

The first is the Fringed Bikini top from Petite Mort.  This is a bikini top with a lovely floral pattern on a solid background.  There is a fringe that hangs down on the bottom of the top and there are ties in the mid back that tie in a bow and the thin straps around the neck tie in a bow as well.

The Fringed Bikini top is made for Belleza Freya/Isis and Venus, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass/Physique.  It is available in ten different colors (shown here)

I paired the top with some cool shorts that are a Boho Culture Fair exclusive from PecuShop.  The High Waist Rolled Legs Jeans Shorts have two pockets in the front, a button fastener and two pockets in the back. There are two versions of each short.. One plain version and on with the words "Peace" and "Love"   These shorts are made for five fitmesh/mesh sizes, Maitreya, and Slink and are available in five colors as shown here

The jewelry I chose is the Mariposa Necklace and the Guilded Mariposa Ring. Both are available at the Boho Culture Fair. The Mariposa Necklace starts with a black cord from which hangs a single butterfly wing.  The HUD included gives a choice of twelve different patterns/colors of butterfly wings.   The Guilded Mariposa ring a large butterfly in silver and gold and is the gift for the 5th anniversary of the Boho Culture Fair. 

No Match has a very cool hairstyle available at the Boho Culture fair. No Juice is a braided dreadlocked style with a multicolored ribbon woven thoughout it. The haircolor is controlled by a HUD and there is also a HUD that gives ten different choices of ribbon sections. The No Juice hair can also be worn without the ribbons as well.

I finished off the outfit with some shoes from Honey Soul at the Boho Culture Fair.  The Brenda shoes are flat Mary Jane style shoes with a metal buckle on the strap that goes over the top of the foot.  The HUD included offers a choice of gold or silver for the buckle and four shoe colors.  These shoes are made for both classic and Slink Flat feet.

Look #250: Things That Live in the Attic

In this blog post I am featuring an awesome dress and boots from KiB Designs and some furniture from the Artist Shed


The Doutzen Dress is a Boho Culture Fair Exclusive from KiB Designs.  This is a cute sleeveless mini dress that has a thin belt at the waist and a rounded neckline.  I like the HUD that comes with this dress.  It  gives six nice solid color options and six  lovely patterned options.  The dress is made for five fitmesh sizes, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

Another Boho Culture fair exclusive from KiB Designs are the Doutzen Cowgirl Boots.  These leather boots have small square heels and rounded toes.  There is decorative stitching on the toe and top of foot and the sides of the boots have an elaborate pattern with silver rivettes.  These boots coordinate well with the Doutzen Dress and the HUD included gives five colors each on a brown, grey and black background.  The Doutzen Cowgirl Boots are made for standard feet. 

The furniture set in the blog photos is made by The Artist Shed and is available at the Twelve Event.  The set includes a stack of photos, A covered chair, a table, a dead plant and fireplace logs.  There are two versions of each piece of the furniture: one with cobwebs and one without. Each item in the set is static decor with no animations in them.

Look #246: Bohemian Style in the Misty Woods

For this blog post I have some awesome Boho Culture Fair exclusives from Mooh, Slipper Originals and EMO-tions

One of the Boho Culture Fair exclusives from Mooh is the lace Faith Oufit.  This outfit consists of a halter top and long skirt.

The cropped halter top has a ruffle at the neckline and hangs loosely.  The skirt has a lace overlay on a solid background color and a satin bow at the waistline.  The included HUD  has six solid colors and six colors of lace for the top, six lace colors for the skirt and six solid colors for the belt. The top is made for the five standard mesh sizes, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass/Physique.  The skirt is also made for the five standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus and Slink Hourglass/Physique. 

The  Juno Sandals is the Boho Culture Fair exclusive from Slipper Originals. These are cute slip on sandals for Slink Flat feet. They have a large band over the top of the foot and the sole of the sandals has rivets that run along the edge.  There is a HUD that allows customization of the straps and insoles and soles of the sandals.

The exclusve hair from EMO-tions at the Boho Culture Fair is the Vera hair. This is a long hair style that has a bit of a wave to it. It has a loose pulled back section in back and the front is pulled back slightly by a patterened scarf. Some loose tendrils are left loose to frame the face.  The Vera hair is hudded and has a hud for different color goups. (The red color group is shown here) Each hud has five pattern/color options for the scarf.
