Look #272: Retro Glamour

Retro glamour is alive and well with the Frozen Fair exclusives from Petite Mort.  It starts out with the Marilyn Dress.  This is a form fitting dress made of black lace with a solid colored background fabric.  A nice accessory to go with the Marilyn Dress is the Fox Fur Stole. This stole lays over the right shoulder and comes with a HUD with eight different textures in which to choose.

To finish off this glamorous look Petite Mort has the Juno Metallic Platfom Heels also available at the Frozen Fair. These peep toe heels have a bow at the toe and a high thin  heel connected to a leather piece covering the back of the heel.

The Marilyn Dress is made for the five standard mesh sizes, fitmesh, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass/Physique.  It is available at the Frozen Fair in seven lovely colors (shown below).  The Juno Metallic Platform Heels are made for Slink High feet and are available in eight different colors.

Look #219: Supporting the Local Coffee House

Petite Mort has some awesome exclusives at the current round of Tres Chic!  As soon as I saw them I couldn't wait to share them.   I also have another nail applier available at the Mesh Body Addicts Bi-Monthly event from Dark Passions Koffin Nails to share as well

This lovely three piece outfit is actually three separates available at Tres Chic from Petite Mort. It starts with the Chenille sweater.  This is a lushly textured long sleeved sweater with an asymmetrical neckline. It comes in six rich colors and is made for classic/fitmesh sizes, Maitreya and Slink

The skirt I am wearing is the Hand Painted Leather Skirt. This is a very feminine skirt with slight pleating on the bottom and a lovely foral pattern.  This skirt is also available in six colors that can be mixed and matched with the sweater.  It is made for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink as well as the classic/fitmesh sizes.

Finally to tie the outfit together is the Boho Scarf.  This is a richly textured scarf that winds around the neck. It comes with a color change HUD and is made for five classic sizes as well as fitmesh and Slink Hourglass/Physique. 

The Autumn Frost nails are a pretty set of shimmery nails from Dark Passions Koffin Nails.  These are an exclusive at the Mesh Body Addicts Bi-Monthly event.  The applier has six shades in a plain version and also a version with a strip at the bottom.  There is an applier HUD for Maitreya, Omega and Slink . Each HUD can be purchased separately or there is a FatPack available with all the applier

Look #216: Vintage Lace and Jazz

I just love vintage styles and I love lace.  Put them together and it's even better! The Lexi Lace Up Dress is the exclusive at the Whore Couture Fair from Petit Mort.  This is a sexy form fitting dress made of a black lace overlay with a solid colored background. A nice touch are the two thin lace bands that run down either side of the front of the dress.  The back of the dress has thin black laces that criss cross and tie in a bow.

The Lexi Lace Up Dress is available in six colors at the Whore Courture Fair and is made for five standard mesh sizes, Belleza Isis/Freya Venus and Slink Physique.  I was able to wear the standard medium size on my Maitreya mesh body with no problem.

The nails I am wearing are another Whore Couture Fair exclusive.  The For the Love of Money Nails are from Dark Passions Koffin Nails.  Three of the nail patterns are parts from a dollar bill and six have criss crosss dollar bills at the bottom with a shimmery solid color on the top. There are appliers for Maitreya, Omega and Slink which can be purchased separately for 100 Lindens each or a Fatpack with all the applier HUDs can be purchased for 275 Lindens

A lovely Intimate lounge overlooking the Manhattan skyline.  This venue has both live performers and DJs. Look #214: Enchanting Lace

The new monthly event Twe12ve starts tomorrow (sept 12th). I wanted to give a preview of  the exclusives from Mutiny in Heaven, Slipper Originals, and Divine Ink that will be available at this event.

I just love lace so when I saw the Instinct Dress from Mutiny in Heaven I knew I had to share it. It's a basic tube dress made out of pretty lace. The bottom of the dress has a scalloped edge and the top of the dress depending on what pattern you select from the HUD included either has a scalloped top edge or a fringed top edge on the bodice.  The HUD gives three black lace pattern options, one pink and two white lace pattern options. The Instinct Dress is made for Maitreya and Slink Physique.

The lovely tattoo I am wearing is a Twe12ve exclusive from Divine Ink. This is a floral tattoo with the image of a fairy that covers the chest and arms and stomach.

There are two applier HUDs each or Belleza, Maitreya and Omega. One applier HUD for a faded version and another for a fresh version.

Slipper Originals exclusive item for Twe12ve are the Ambrosia Heels. These are high heeled version of Mary Jane's with some cute details like lace trim and a cute bow. A HUD offers 16 color choices for the main shoe, the sole, lace trim,bow, heel and platform. The Ambrosia Heels are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High feet.

A new montly event that begins on the 12th of  each month. Each month will have a different theme and the designers participating will offer exclusives that fit the theme.  The theme for September is Enchanting.

Look #204: A Modern Pretty Princess

I have some great furnishings from the Fable event and two awesome dresses from the Pretty Things Showroom to share in this blog post.

The Antonetta Summer Chemise is an exclusive from Prism at the Pretty Things Showroom.  This is a very feminine mini dress.  The skirt is made up of two layers of pleated silk fabric with a beautiful design.  It has a princess waistline that is gathered and tied in the front with a bow.  The bodice is a coordinated solid color.  There is a HUD included to change the the bodice color and the dots in the pattern of the skirt.

This dress is made for five fitmesh sizes, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass/Physique.

The Little Dress from FxM is also an exclusive at the Pretty Things Showroom.  This is a simple tube dress that has a great fit.  The awesome thing about this dress is the HUD that comes with it.  The HUD gives nine color options for four different types of fabrics: Fades, Lace, Leopard and Solids.  That makes this dress highly customizable!  The Little Dress is made for five standard mesh sizes as well as for most Mesh bodies: Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Eve Pulpy/Slim, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique, TMP and Tonic Fine/Curvy.
