Look #272: Retro Glamour

Retro glamour is alive and well with the Frozen Fair exclusives from Petite Mort.  It starts out with the Marilyn Dress.  This is a form fitting dress made of black lace with a solid colored background fabric.  A nice accessory to go with the Marilyn Dress is the Fox Fur Stole. This stole lays over the right shoulder and comes with a HUD with eight different textures in which to choose.

To finish off this glamorous look Petite Mort has the Juno Metallic Platfom Heels also available at the Frozen Fair. These peep toe heels have a bow at the toe and a high thin  heel connected to a leather piece covering the back of the heel.

The Marilyn Dress is made for the five standard mesh sizes, fitmesh, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass/Physique.  It is available at the Frozen Fair in seven lovely colors (shown below).  The Juno Metallic Platform Heels are made for Slink High feet and are available in eight different colors.

Look #254: The Leaves in November

Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year.  The leaves change to beautiful colors and fall off the trees in preparation for Winter.  It's also a time to bring out the cozy sweaters and scarfs.  Petite Mort has a cute dress and scarf just right for checking out the leaves on an Autumn day.

One of the exclusives from Petite Mort at Sad November event is the Nora Dress. This is a comforable sweater dress.  This dress is made up of a long sleeved solid colored sweater atop a floral patterned skirt with a rounded hem.  It is available in five different colors (shown above) and is made for the five standard mesh sizes, Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus and Slink Hourglass/Physique.  The medium mesh size fit wonderfully on my Maitreya Lara Mesh body as well

Another exclusive item from Petite Mort at the Sad November event is the Cable Knit Scarf.  It pairs perfectly with the Nora Dress or can be worn with other outfits.  This is a lovely textured knit scarf wrapped around the neck.  The HUD included offers eight color choices.  There is a fitted version, a version for Slink Hourglass/Physique and for the five standard mesh sizes.

The cute nails I am wearing is a prize in an interactive game called Nowhere.  All the Buzz nail appliers'  have five textures with a  honeycomb as a background. There are two with a black background and three with a gold background.  This prize has appliers for Maitreya, Slink and Omega.

Look #216: Vintage Lace and Jazz

I just love vintage styles and I love lace.  Put them together and it's even better! The Lexi Lace Up Dress is the exclusive at the Whore Couture Fair from Petit Mort.  This is a sexy form fitting dress made of a black lace overlay with a solid colored background. A nice touch are the two thin lace bands that run down either side of the front of the dress.  The back of the dress has thin black laces that criss cross and tie in a bow.

The Lexi Lace Up Dress is available in six colors at the Whore Courture Fair and is made for five standard mesh sizes, Belleza Isis/Freya Venus and Slink Physique.  I was able to wear the standard medium size on my Maitreya mesh body with no problem.

The nails I am wearing are another Whore Couture Fair exclusive.  The For the Love of Money Nails are from Dark Passions Koffin Nails.  Three of the nail patterns are parts from a dollar bill and six have criss crosss dollar bills at the bottom with a shimmery solid color on the top. There are appliers for Maitreya, Omega and Slink which can be purchased separately for 100 Lindens each or a Fatpack with all the applier HUDs can be purchased for 275 Lindens

A lovely Intimate lounge overlooking the Manhattan skyline.  This venue has both live performers and DJs. Look #207: Vintage Sexy

I have some exclusive items from the Fetish Fair and the Black Dot Project to share.  There is still time to get to these awesome events if you haven't already.  The Fetish Fair runs until September 2 and the Black Dot Project runs until September 4th.

The Fetsh Fair exclusive from Petite Mort is a beautiful vintage look corsette.  The Eliza Satin Corset is made up of panels that alternate between black lace on a white background and pink rose floral.  The top of the corset has the black lace as well

The back of the corsette laces up and ties in a bow at the top.   Its made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus; Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique, TMP as well as five standard mesh sizes. The Eliza Satin Corset is available separately in five colors at the Fetish Fair or a fatpack of all five colors is available as well.

Another Fetish Fair exclusive is the Dominatrix Nails from Dark Passions Koffin Nails.  The design is a solid color background on which are black straps with a silver or gold accent. There are  six background colors each with two different versions on the applier HUD  There are separate applier HUDsfor Maitreya, Omega and Slink Nails/Toes. Each one is 100L or the fatpack with all applier HUDs is 275L

The tattoos on both legs is a Black Dot Project exclusive from Divine Ink.  The Happiness Tattoo for the legs is a pretty floral pattern with vines and leaves that winds down the front and back of both legs. It is available in fresh and faded versions for Belleza, Maitreya and Omega.  There is also a version of the Happiness Tattoo available at the Black Dot Project for the top part of the body as well (not pictured here)

Look #126: What's Black & White and Elegant

For this blog post I am featuring an elegant dress from MooLaLa available at this month's round of The Stuff Style Sales Room.  The style of the Celeste dress is one that is classic and never goes out of style. The bodice of the dress is a black ribbed knit with cuffs on the sleeves that match the skirt.   I am wearing the floral version which has a lovely floral pattern on the skirt and cuffs

There are six different styles of the Celeste dress available at the Stuff Sales Room each one with the same black ribbed top and a different pattern for the skirt:  Polka dot, checked, floral, diamond,  crazy lines and stars. This mesh dress is made for the five standard sizes.

Look #116: It's the Details That Make a Great Look

For this blog post I am featuring an outfit called Keala from Shae's Creations.  It includes a halter top, mini skirt and a cute pair of matching boots.

The Keala Tied Up top is simple but it sets off the skirt well.  It's made of suede to match the skirt belt and it has straps that tie at the top of the shoulders.  The Keala High Waist skirt is a mini skirt that has some great details.  There is an awesome wide suede belt at the waist and suede strips running down the front with metal buttons.  The back of the skirt has a suede square with metal buttons underneath the waist band. The fabric of the skirt is a brown and cream diamond pattern.

The Keala outfit also includes a pair of stylish ankle boots.   These boots are brown with a high thin heel and some straps at the ankle that cross in the front.  The front part of the boot rises higher up the leg than the back part and the heel is made up of a white metal piece.

The top and skirt are mesh and made for the five standard sizes and the boots are made for standard avatar feet.  Look for this outfit to be available in other colors in the future.

Look #115: Passage to Everlong

For this blog post I visited a Sim called Everlong.  It's a peaceful sim that is that has small beautiful vignettes that are perfect backdrops for photography.  I am wearing a lovely outfit from Siss Boom that matches the colors and vibe of Everlong along with some awesome heels from N-Core.   

Passages is a coat & dress combo perfect for Spring.  The fabric on both the coat and dress is a lightweight linen.  The coat is just a bit shorter than the dress and has long sleeves.  A lovely detail is the floral applique patterns on each side of the front of the coat.  The sleeveless dress is a very feminine style with a pretty applique pattern on the neckline and bodice and visible stitching on the hemline.  It's a perfect length being neither too short or too long.

The Passages outfit has lovely detailing and a great fabric choice.   It's the use of lovely patterns and rich fabrics in every creation from Siss Boom that keep customers coming back.

The Passages outfit is available in seven Spring colors and is made for fitmesh and regular mesh in five sizes and Slink Hourglass/Physique.

There are three shoe designers in Second Life that I really love and N-Core is one of them. The heels I am wearing are the Slingback Heels from N-Core.  I thought these heels were perfect because I wanted something simple that would complement the outfit. They are basic slingbacks with a high stiletto heel and a peep toe. They are made well and go with virtually everything. The fatpack version has a HUD with a choice of twelve colors for the shoe and the platform.
