Look #264: Hearts Can Be Worn Anytime

Just in time for the colder months, the Talin Off Shoulder Sweater Dress is a new release from Shae's Creations.  This is a cute long sleeved form fitting sweater dress with a wide band at the top that reveals the shoulders.  There are two versions of this cute dress.  One with a green and white zig-zag pattern and the other with red and grey hearts.  This dress is made for five standard/fitmesh sizes, Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

The lovely heels I am wearing are available at the Lost & Found event from ArisAris called the Make A Wish Stiletto Heels.  These heels have a very thin high stiletto heel and a pointed toe.  There is a large bow over the toe and a rippled side panel.  The HUD is amazing offering presets for ten plain colors and eight fantasy patterns/colors. Each separate part of the shoe can be customized from the HUD as well.  The Make A Wish Stiletto Heels. are made for Belleza, eBody, Eve, Maitreya, Slink, TMP, and Tonic.

Look #236: A Walk in a Japanese Garden

The Pretty Things Showroom opens a new round on October 11th.  I have a preview of some exclusives from Shae's Designs that will be available at this event.

The halter top is the first Pretty Things Showroom exclusive from Shae's Designs.  Sissi's Halter Top is made of  two wide bands of satiny material that criss-cross in the front. In the back the bands are connected to two metal rings and tied in a bow.  This halter top is made for the five standard mesh sizes. Maitreya and Slink and is available in three colors (red, black and blue)

The other exclusive is the Zandra Cross Jeans.  These jeans have a very cool embassed belt with an ornate belt buckle.  There is a cross stitched on both of the back pockets and the bottom of each leg is split to cover a pair of heels and elongate the leg.  There are two versions of the jeans, one for wearing with mid heels and the other for wearing with high heels.  They are available in three colors and are made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique, and TMP; as well as the five standard mesh sizes.

Look #180: A Visit to the Beach House

I love putting outfits together but sometimes it's nice to purchase a whole outfit that has all the items inclusive so I can just put it on and know it all coordinates well.

The Carlotta outfit is an exclusive from Shae's Designs at the Pretty Things Showroom.  It consists two tops, a pair of jeans and boots.  The first top is an unbuttoned button down plaid mesh top.  The plaid pattern is a pretty combination of pink, white and tan. It is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass/Physique, TMP and five standard mesh sizes.  The top worn underneath is a pink cropped tank top with cutouts on the neckline. This top is made for shirt system layer, Omega, Maitreya and Slink appliers. Both tops look great together but can also be worn separately. 

The straight leg dark blue jeans included in the outfit is made for four standard mesh sizes and Slink.  The dark pink high-top lace up boots finishes up the Carlotta outfit. There is an unrigged version for standard feet and also a version for Slink flat feet

The planter in the first photo is the Life's a Beach Planter. It is the hunt item from The Artist Shed for the Beached Bunny Hunt.  This planter looks great hanging on a porch or even in an entryway.  I love the muted beach colors on the worn wood planks.  This planter is copy/no transfer and land impact is 3 prims.

Look #160: Exotic Glamour

For this blog post I am featuring a lovely outfit from Shae's Creations, a beautiful hairstyle from Scandal Fashions and some awesome poses from Indigo Poses.  All these items can be found at the Jersey Shore fashion event going on until June 25th.

The Rahel outfit from Shae's Creations consists of a long tunic top and leggings.  The top has a lovely black floral pattern on a black background and it drapes down to the knees in the back and opens up to reveal a bit of skin in the front.  A nice touch are the pattern of gems in the front under the neckline.  The Rahel outfit comes in one piece and is made for five fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.

The Angel Hair is available in a Gacha from Scandal Fashions. This is a long streaked hairstyle that parts in the middle and falls in nice waves.

There are five common packs that have four color each: Black Streaked Blonde Streaked, Brown Streaked, Pastel Streaked, and Red Streaked. There are two rare packs that include two of the common packs: Red & Black Packs and Blonde & Brown packs.

All the poses for the photos here are part of the Glam pose set from Indigo Poses.  The set includes six poses, five of them are front facing and one is a side pose.  These are great poses to show off jewelry and shoes as well as outfits.

Look #143: Always Time For May Flowers

Warmer weather, flowers in bloom.... this is a couple great things about the month of May. Wearing cute Summer fashions is also a great part of May.

The Lidia outfit is a newer release at Shae's Creations. It's a perfect casual Summer outfit that looks great.  The top is a light purple halter that dips down in the back and drapes perfectly.  The cute mini skirt is a grey/black/purple plaid pattern.  It has a black belt with a gold buckle.  Both the top and skirt are made for the five standard mesh sizes.

The final part of the Lidia outfit is some awesome sandals.  These are flat sandals that have a purple strap around the big toe and around the top of the foot.  The strap on the top of the foot is connected to a strap with a buckle around the heel.  These sandals are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Flat feet.

The jewelry set I paired with this wonderful Summer outfit is from Indulge Temptation (!IT) and is available at the Color Me Project.   The Caprice set includes a necklace and matching earrings.  The necklade has a delicate gold chain from which hangs an intricate patterned gold piece that has tiny pink gems. At the end of this is a pink teardrop pearl.  The earrings have a matching gold pattern piece with a pink teardrop pearl.  There is a HUD included that gives color options for the metal and the pearl/gems.

I visited the ULTRA fashion event this weekend and found this lovely hair from Wasabi Pills. Dakota is mad up of a single loosely braided plait on the left side.  It is nicely woven and includes colored bands the color of which can be changed with the included accessories HUD.  The top of the hairstyle is parted in the middle and has nice waves. 

The color of the Dakota hair can be changed by the included HUD which has eight regular tones and eight root versions. I included a picture of the HUD for the red hair which is the color I am wearing to demonstrate the beautiful colors available.  There are eight color packs available at ULTRA as well as an "All Colors" pack.  This is definitely my new favorite hair style!

:Look #133: Classics Never Go Out of Style

The Garage Fair opened today and I am so excited to be sharing items that are available at this awesome event!

I will start with the amazing romper I am wearing from Shae's Creations. The Devika Romper is a classic style reminiscent of the 50's.  It reminds me of the outfit that the Sandy in the movie Grease wore in the closing scene when she wanted to wow Danny at the school carnival.  This style is still relevant although not as skin tight as the version that Sandy wore. 

The top part of the romper is strapless and sleeveless. There is a thin belt at the waist and the legs end just below the knee.

Like I mentioned before this is not a skin tight romper but it still shows off curves very well. It looks fabulous with a good pair of heels and also would look great paired with a leather jacket.

The Devika Romper is a Garage Fair exclusive and is available in four solid colors, three patterns and two bicolored versions.  It is made for the five standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and TMP.






The shoes I paired with the romper are a gacha item from the Gacha Garden which also started today.  The Kuala Lumpur heels from Essenz are a high stiletto heels with a leather strap on the toe and tie up strap on the foot that ends up tied around the ankle.  There are ten colors available as common colors with black and white being the rare colors available from the gacha.  These heels are made for Maitreya and Slink high feet.  There is also a HUD included with options to change the soul color to either black or creme and the metal color to either silver or gold.

Now here's a definite classic!  The 1950's Cadillac shown here is a pose prop from Image Essentials called The Classic and is available at the Garage Fair.  It includes three sitting poses and three standing poses.  I've featured two of the standing poses and one of the sitting poses.  There is a HUD that allows the color of the car to be changed.  I personally love the teal color so I left it that way but the HUD is very versatile and allows for a myriad of colors.

The Garage Fair

The theme for this year's Garage Fair is Casual, Urban, Fashionista Style, Old, New & Mixed.  The event features many top designers with exclusive items 50% off and regular items 30% off.  Designer gifts and gachas also available. The Garage Fair started on May 1st and runs until May 15th.

Look #129: A Good Beach Walk

Ahhh the sea and the sand and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I spent most of the day walking around the beach in Second Life.  I had on the perfect outfit for a beach walk from Shae's Creations.

The Cadie Leigh halter and Capri Cargo pants are available together at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow event.  The halter top has a lovely pattern of pastel blue, pink, white and grey.  It has a strap that goes around the neck and straps that tie in the back.  It's made for the five standard sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya and Slink

The capri cargo pants have a great texture and are a pretty shade of blue. There are two front pockets and a side pocket on each leg.  The cuffs of the pants have cute wooden buttons on the side.  The Caide Leigh pants are made for the five standard sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and Tonic Curvy.

Everyone knows that it's always the best when walking in the sand to go barefoot.  I love the feeling of the sand between my toes.  But my feet weren't quite bare.  I found these super cute foot jewels called Hunta Owl by Deadpool at the Somewhere Over the Rainbow event.   These foot jewels start with a leather strap that winds around the top of the ankle three times and is tied in a bow ending in three colorful beads.  A second strap winds around the ankle and is colorfully beaded. There is a cute owl that connects this beaded strap to a strap that goes around the middle toe. I love how colorful this is!

My nails have a cute zigzag pattern and bunnies because of the Funny Bunny nail applier that's an Evil Bunny Hunt item from Livia.  I had been waiting for just the right outfit with which  to wear these.  The applier HUD has four designs in which to choose. A plain zigzag pattern in teal and pink and three other designs with the zigzag pattern and bunny faces. I couldn't decide which one I wanted to wear so I wore all four of them!

I had a great time walking around the beach and taking photos.  I must mention the beach location I visited has become my favorite Second Life beach to go to when I want to take fabulous beach photos or just to hang out.  It's called Baja Sands and it's quite a fun Sim to visit.   I love the memorabilia that is placed here and there like this trailer park sign in the photo below.  There are also little beach houses for rent as well.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Event

This is a fund raising event for a child named Huntar Sammons who has been diagnosed with a blood cancer.  The funds raised will help his parents cover their bills so they can be at his bedside while he goes through chemotherapy for 6 months

The Evil Bunny Hunt

The Evil Bunny is back for the 6th year and has been very busy spreading chaos, stealing eggs and being, well, evil. Follow his devious trail of nice and naughty eggs but beware of that carrot, is it ink or blood, we don't know as he's very tricky and quick. That fluffy tail isn't as cute as you might think.  The hunt starts on April 3rd and ends on April 30th

Look #116: It's the Details That Make a Great Look

For this blog post I am featuring an outfit called Keala from Shae's Creations.  It includes a halter top, mini skirt and a cute pair of matching boots.

The Keala Tied Up top is simple but it sets off the skirt well.  It's made of suede to match the skirt belt and it has straps that tie at the top of the shoulders.  The Keala High Waist skirt is a mini skirt that has some great details.  There is an awesome wide suede belt at the waist and suede strips running down the front with metal buttons.  The back of the skirt has a suede square with metal buttons underneath the waist band. The fabric of the skirt is a brown and cream diamond pattern.

The Keala outfit also includes a pair of stylish ankle boots.   These boots are brown with a high thin heel and some straps at the ankle that cross in the front.  The front part of the boot rises higher up the leg than the back part and the heel is made up of a white metal piece.

The top and skirt are mesh and made for the five standard sizes and the boots are made for standard avatar feet.  Look for this outfit to be available in other colors in the future.
