Look #146: Beautiful Daydreams

I just love the Everlong Sim.  I hadn't been here in while so I decided to visit to see if I could get inspiration for some blog photos. I was pleased to see that there had been some scenery changes since I had last been there and I didn't have to walk around long before I came to this great chaise lounge chair.  I look like I am daydreaming which I think fits the outfit I am wearing. For this blog post I have a beautiful dress to show you from Siss Boom,  an awesome pair of heels from Wicked, and a lovely jewelry set from Indulge Temptation.

The Linger dress from Siss Boom is so delicate and feminine that the minute I saw it I knew I had to share it in my blog.  The bodice is a fitted halter that plunges down in a V shape in the front.  It reminds of the top part of the dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when that famous picture was taken as she stepped over the air grill. The back of the bodice has two thin straps that criss cross and connect to the back of the skirt part.

The skirt part of the Linger dress has a waist line that rises up in a slight V shape and drapes down in a few subtle pleats.  What makes this dress look dreamy is a gauze like overlay on the skirt that falls below the hem.

The Linger dress is available in four delicate dreamy colors.  It is made for five standard mesh/fitmesh sizes as well as for Maitreya and Slink

The shoes I chose to pair with the dress are Charlene Heels from Wicked.  These wonderful heels have a thick base under the toe part with a strap that runs over the toe.  There is a strap that wraps around the middle of the foot and connects to the piece at the back of the foot.  This piece laces up with a thin cord that has a tassel at each end.  It finishes up with a strap that wraps around the foot above the ankle.  The Charlene Heels are made for Slink High feet and has a HUD included which provides color options for the leather, the color of the tassels, the laces, sole, inside of the heel and the metal

A delicate feminine dress should be accessorized with some delicate, feminine jewelry.  The Fey Berries set from Indulge Temptation was the perfect choice.  It consists of a necklace and matching earrings.  The necklace starts with a small chain the back from which hangs an intricate vine metal piece in the front.  There are four larger gems, two round and two oval shaped, that connect to the vine piece on each side and small rounder gems scattered throughout just like berries hanging on a vine.  The earrings are drop down and have the same delicate vine pattern with two larger gems and smaller gems that match the necklace.  There is a HUD included that allows for color choices for the gems and the metal.  The Fey Berries set is available at the May round of SWANK and is available in six different color combinations.

Look #136: Fresh is Beautiful

The May round of Swank has started and that means a new Swank exclusive outfit from Flippant!  The Fresh outfit is perfect for Spring and Summer. It includes a super cute dress, heels,  a necklace, earrings and a bracelet; and a pretty leg tattoo.

The Fresh dress is fun feminine halter dress that has a great fit.  The straps that go around the neck tie in the back and here is a thin band at the waistline and another above the hemline.  A HUD included for this dress has a custom script. that changes not only the fabric of the dress to one of twelve fabrics (see below) but also the material effect of each fabric. In order to see the materials effect graphics must be set to advanced lighting.

The Fresh dress is made for rigged mesh in five standard sizes as well as for Belleza Isis/Freya/Venus; Maitreya Lara; Slink Hourglass/Physique and TMP.

The Necklace, earrings and bracelet that is included in the Fresh outfit can go with any of the dress colors available on the dress HUD.  All three jewelry items are made up of different colored gems and beads on a gold chain. All three items have resizers and there is a HUD (see below) that gives the option to switch between bright colors and muted colors. 

The last two items included in the Fresh outfit are a great pair of heels and a  pretty flowered leg tattoo.  The heels have a high stiletto heel with studs on the back.  There is a studded strap that wraps around the top of the toes ,two studded straps that come up from the sides of the heels and a studded strap that runs up over the front of the foot and then connects to another strap that wraps around the heel.  The HUD that has the jewelry options also includes three color and metal options for the heels.  The Fresh heels are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High feet.

The flowered leg tattoo wraps around the back of the calf  of the right leg up to below the knee.  There are appliers for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya that include two versions of the tattoo.

Look #122: Oh So Sophisticated

There are a lot of exciting fashion events going on in Second Life right now.  In this blog post, I am sharing an outfit from SWANK, a jewelry set and a beautiful furniture set from The Color Me Project. 

The Portia Top and Portia Pencil Skirt are from Tashi and both are available at this month's round of SWANK.  This look is very classic and timeless but it is also a bit modern as the top is cropped in front to show just a bit of under cleavage and longer in back.  The pencil skirt is always in style and fits perfectly.

There is a HUD included that has six color choices for both the top and skirt. 

Both are mesh and available in the five standard sizes and five fitmesh sizes as well version for  Belleza, Maitreya and Slink mesh bodies.

The very elegant heels I am wearing are also available at SWANK from Tashi.   The Haydee Heels have golden ring embellished clear straps that run along the toe and up around the ankle.  They have a pointed toe and a high thin heel.  These shoes go perfectly with the Portia Top and Skirt

The Haydee Heels are made for Slink High feet and are available in six different colors.

The jewelry set I am wearing with this amazing outfit is from Indulge Temptation and is available at the Color Me Project. 

The Majestique set includes a short necklace with a delicate wide chain and a jewel center. The earrings drop down from the ear with the same chain and end with a jewel to match the necklace



Both the necklace and earrings are 100% resizable mesh and the set comes with a HUD that has 10 color options for the jewel and 10 metal options for the chain.

Also from the Color Me Project is this very elegant furniture set from [CIRCA] Living.  The Clarice room set includes a velvet chaise that has a blanket and pillow (removable on touch). The chaise is is available in three different color combinations and there are 45 female lay and sit animations.

There are also curtains available in either smoke or scarlet and three different area rug sets with two rugs each one in smoke and one in scarlet in each set.  The final piece is a side table with a beautiful vase of orchids.

Each piece can be purchased separately or there are two sets available in either scarlet or smoke.

The Color Me Project is a fashion event that focuses on a particular color or group of colors .  More than 20 designers share their discounted quality items that adhere to the color/colors chosen before each round

Look #118: A Visit to the Countryside

I love to explore Second Life to find some incredible Sims in which I can take photos.  I came across Countryside last week and after exploring I landmarked it because I knew that I would be coming back to take photos.When I saw one of the releases from Flippant for the April round of Swank, it reminded me of the Countryside Sim.  So that's where I headed to take the photos for this blog post.

The Suntime outfit consists of a denim dress, belt and sandals.  The sleeveless dress is made of worn faded denim and is perfect to wear for a day in the country. It buttons up the front and has two pockets in the front as well.  It has a fold down collar that wraps around the neck and the back of the dress drops down below the shoulder blades.  The red belt is separate from the dress so it can either be worn with the dress or not.  There is also a white flower to be worn in the hair (not pictured here).  The Suntime dress is mesh and made for the five standard sizes

The last part of the Suntime outfit are a cute pair of flat sandals.  They are red to match the belt and there is a thick strap that goes across the top of the foot that connects to a thin black strap at the heel.  There is also a strap that wraps around the big toe.  The Suntime sandals are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Flat feet.

Also available at the April round of Swank from Flippant is the Spring Fling Nail applier.  With this you get a choice of four nail patterns.  I chose the blue but the other patterns would work with this outfit as well. There is a version of the Spring Fling Nail applier for both Maitreya and Slink.

This is just one of the awesome photos I took at the Countryside sim.  It's set up for anyone to come and relax and take pictures.  It has a down on the farm country feel and plenty of spots to sit and cuddle with a loved one.  I think every time I go there I see something new I hadn't seen before.  I have included the SURL to this sim in the relevant links section.
