Look #176: Start with a Great Dress and Add Accessories

This blog post is jam packed with items available at a new fashion event called the Pretty Things Showroom.

The first exclusive from the showroom is an awesome dress from Blac Label Boutique. This is  a maxi length dress with slits up each side.  The bodice has three straps that go around the neck on each side and a small keyhole opening.  The Ma'at dress is available in five different patterns and is made for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and five fitmesh sizes.

There are some great accessories at the Pretty Things Showroom as well.  The Penta Bag from SinfulSky is a medium sized handbag with a pentagram on the front and a round handle.  It comes with a HUD to change the main part of the handbag, the metal, the layer part that has the pentragram and the handles. It is worn on the left hand.

The Evelyn Heels from Awear are very stylish heels with a high base  and a thick strap that goes over the top of the foot.  These heels should definitely be an inventory staple because they come with a HUD that gives 15 solid color options and 11 pattern options.  The Evelyn Heels are made for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink High Feet.

The eyeshadow I am wearing is also from Awear and is available at the Pretty Things Showroom. The All That Glitters Eyeshadow is a shimmery eyeshadow that starts at the lid and extends to the eyebrows. It comes nine colors in either tattoo layers or Applier HUDS for Catwa, Genesis, Lelutka and Omega

The Pretty Things Showroom exclusive from Baubles By Phe is the Jewel Swirl Necklace.  This necklace starts with a delicate chain on which hangs an "S" shape with two gems. It is connected to the opposite side of the chain on which hangs a smaller "S" shame with two gems as well.  There are two version each (scripted and no modify) of the necklace with a black chain, silver chain and gold chain.  There is also a HUD included with gives 10 color options for the gems.

The Pretty Things Showroom Event

The Pretty Things Showroom Event is a monthly showcase event that brings together Second Life's  premier and top designers to highlight an exclusive release for the month. The first round started July 11th and runs until August 7th.

Look #175: A Tour of Provence

 The colors for round 34 of the Color Me Project are the Colors of Provence: lavendar, peacock green and dusty plum.  I am featuring two items available at Color Me Project from KiB Designs and Indulge Temptation.

The Ly Rustic dress is a Color Me Project exclusive from KiB Designs.  This dress uses all the colors from this round and in a very lovely way. 

This summery halter dress is very feminine and has a layered look to it.  The top layer is has two cute pockets in the front each with a small bow.  There are four versions of the dress each sold separately in two styles for 99L or the Fatpack with all versions can be purchased for 239L.

The Ly Rustic dress is made for Maitreya and Slink Physique



Indulge Temptation has a cute set of earrings available at the Color Me Project that look great with the Ly Rustic Dress.  The Pebbles Earrings are hanging earrings that have three thin metal pieces of varying length from which hang a thin flat "pebble" piece.  The HUD included gives ten color options for the metal and six color options for the pebbles.

Color Me Project

Look #170: Walking the Crossroads

I was able to get an early peek at the new monthly fashion event called The Crossroads.  While walking around I came across a great place to take photos for this blog post. Sometimes it happens that way.  I will be exploring and I will see a spot that is just perfect for a photo backdrop.  For this blog post I have a fabulous new release from Wicked and some great heels from Elysium that will be available at the Crossroads event on July 3 to share.

The Rhonda Vest from Wicked is actually a asymmetrical cut  cardigan that is longer in the front than in the back. It has 3/4 cuffed sleeves and a stitched border all around the edges. The pattern of the fabric is a subtle herringbone.

It comes with a top underneath and the HUD included offers options to change the colors/patterns of the top.  There are 25 solid colors and nine patterns from which to choose.  There is also an option for no top.

The Rhonda Vest is made for Belleza Freya/Isis/Venus, Slink Physique and five standard mesh sizes.  It is available separetly in a myriad of colors (army, black, blush, camel(shown here), eggplant, mint, night, rouge, sea, steel, violet and white) or a fatpack can be purchased with all the colors.

The awesome heels I am wearing are a Crossroads exclusive from Elysium.  I came across them while wandering the Crossroads Event and knew they would go perfectly with my outfit.  The Kim Chunky Sandals have thick chunky high heels and base. There is a strap running across the toe and then another strap that crosses that and connects to a thinner strap at the ankle.  The thinner strap connects to a leather piece at the heel.  There are two versions included with purchase:  one version has a leather heel and base and the other has a wooden heel and base.

The Kim Chunky Sandals are available in many colors (shown below) and are made for Maitreya and Slink High feet.

The Crossroads Event

The Crossroads features more than 80 creators in a unique shopping experience. Customers will get a chance to visit six worlds (Apocalypse, Contemporary, Cute, Lust, RolePlay and Vintage), each offering a different theme and atmosphere. The Crossroads event will run monthly opening on the 3rd thru the 17th of each month.
